Utah Burglar Alarm Qualifying Agent Practice Test

The term "end-user" in alarm systems specifically refers to the individual or organization that utilizes the alarm system for security purposes. This includes residential homeowners who install alarms to protect their property or businesses that implement alarm systems to ensure safety and prevent theft. The end-user is the ultimate consumer of the alarm system's features and functionalities, and their needs and experiences directly influence the design and improvement of these systems.

Understanding this term is crucial because it highlights the importance of meeting the expectations of the users who rely on these systems for protection. It distinguishes them from other stakeholders such as manufacturers, service providers, and technicians, who play roles in the creation, installation, and maintenance of the systems but do not directly use them in the same way that end-users do.
